겁내지 않기로 했어요. 오늘도 악몽을 꿨고 내 옆에 잠든 사람이 꿈인지 귀신인지 확인해야 했지만요. 사람을 알아간다는 건 실망할 일들 뿐이라는 것도 이미 알지만. 제가 제일 잘하는 게 애틋한 구석을 찾아내는 거니까요. 죽어버릴만한 아픔이 오면 그때 죽지 뭐, 하고 생각해버린 거예요. 지금은 살아있고, 따뜻한 피가 흐르는 중이니까 사랑 할 거예요.

이 앨범은 스매싱 펌킨스의 다른 모든 앨범보다 인지도가 떨어지지만 악몽을 꾼 날마다 찾게 되는 곡이 있어서
정이 가는 앨범이다. 1979나 tonight, tonight을 더 많이 듣긴 했지만 더 아끼는 곡을 꼽으라면 이 곡을 고르지 않을까.
